What is ERYICA?
The European Youth Information and Counselling Agency is an independent organisation composed of national and regional youth information coordinating bodies and networks.
Our work upholds the right of young people to complete and reliable information, helping them in making life decisions, and promoting their ability to think critically and to become active participants in society.
ERYICA aims to intensify European and international cooperation in the field of youth information work and services, by giving visibility to initiatives at a local, national and international level, and by providing its members with opportunities for professional development, exchange and innovation.

ERYICA took part in the UN's first Global Dialogue on AI Governance during Geneva Digital Week, where Governing Board member Günter Bressau presented the organisation's AI initiative. Bringing together the outcomes of ERYICA's AI projects and its forthcoming AI Strategy, the initiative highlights the essential role of youth information in ensuring that AI serves the rights, safety and participation of young people.

At ERYICA, we are delighted to introduce you to our new member, coming from the Republic of Moldova. That is why we want to tell you a little bit about them.
Since March, ERYICA has welcomed 20 new Trainers of Trainers to its international trainers pool. After completing a months-long learning journey culminating in Luxembourg, they are now ready to deliver ERYICA's Youth Information and Counselling courses across Europe.
Last April, ERYICA joined more than 1,000 young people at the European Youth Week 2026 kick-off event in Brussels. Together with young representatives from the network, the Secretariat promoted ERYICA's 40th Anniversary Campaign and co-hosted a participatory session on young people's vision for Europe's future, highlighting the essential role of youth information in ensuring justice, inclusion, and participation.
Forty years ago, ERYICA was founded with a clear and forward‑looking purpose: to ensure that young people across Europe have access to reliable, comprehensive and youth‑friendly information.
To start its birthday celebrations, ERYICA will host an online launch event on 10 April at 10:00 CET. Open to members and stakeholders, the webinar will introduce the activities and initiatives planned for the anniversary year.
A new round of applications for the European Youth Information Quality Label is open until the 1st of April. An online information session for potential applicants will be held on 4 March 2026. Register now!

In early October, ERYICA and the AI Youth Navigator partners piloted a training on AI tools for youth information work in Croatia. Fifteen participants with diverse backgrounds tested tools for content creation, administration, and youth engagement. The most useful will be featured on the project’s platform, with a selection developed into video tutorials.
