At ERYICA, we are delighted to introduce you to our new member from Slovakia. That is why we want to tell you a little bit about them.

Združenie Informačných a poradenských centier mladých v SR (ZIPCeM) is a national non-profit association that brings together 18 organisations operating Youth Information Centres (ICM) across Slovakia. As a coordination and support structure for the network, ZIPCeM works to ensure that young people have access to reliable, accessible and youth-friendly information services wherever they live.

The organisation provides methodological guidance, quality standards, training, and capacity-building for youth workers and information providers, while coordinating joint initiatives, projects, and communication across the network. Through its shared Information System (IS ICM), ZIPCeM also supports unified data collection, service monitoring and quality assurance, helping to continuously strengthen youth information services across the country.

ZIPCeM coordinates a wide range of activities, from information and counselling through the ICM network to accredited training programmes, national and regional projects, information campaigns and outreach activities. Its work covers key topics including mental health, digital literacy, youth participation and mobility, while also supporting youth parliaments and structured dialogue processes.

And the impact is impressive! In 2025, ZIPCeM and its network reached more than 250,000 young people through hundreds of workshops, events and information services, both offline and online. By connecting local youth needs with national and European opportunities, ZIPCeM plays an important role in ensuring that young people across Slovakia can access the information and support they need to make informed decisions and actively participate in society.
