ERYICA Welcomes its new Director, Susan Flocken

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Susan Flocken as ERYICA’s new Director. Susan is an experienced, multilingual professional passionate about EU affairs and democracy development. With over 15 years of experience in strategic leadership and policy advocacy, she is the ideal leader for our network.

In her most recent position, Susan served as the European Director for the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE-CSEE) in Brussels. Heading this large international organisation, she managed complex international operations and maintained vital links with EU institutions.

Earlier in her career, Susan was a Policy Coordinator and managed EU-funded projects focused on equal opportunities, health and safety, digitalisation and inclusion. Her diverse background also includes work with the European Commission and cross-generational volunteer services with Caritas.

She looks forward to working with the ERYICA members and partner organisations to further strengthen the network.
