Disseminating Youth Information Work through Erasmus+ Mobility: ERYICA Launches New KA1 Project!

ERYICA has launched a new Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Mobility Project for Youth Workers, supported under ERYICA’s Erasmus+ Accreditation and funded by Anefore asbl, the Luxembourgish National Agency.

The initiative aims to enhance professional development, capacity building, and quality standards in youth information work across Europe. Delivered through non-formal learning mobilities, international training courses, and capacity-building measures, the project directly aligns with ERYICA’s accredited strategic priorities:

  • Research, Trends & Innovation: Integrating progressive digital tools, modern learning methods, and emerging media trends to expand youth outreach.

  • Capacity Building: Facilitating the exchange of best practices to empower youth workers in fostering active citizenship among young people.

  • Quality & Ethics: Embedding human rights-based frameworks, critical media literacy, and ethical standards into daily youth information practices.

  • Cooperation & Policy Advocacy: Strengthening strategic partnerships within and beyond the ERYICA network to mainstream youth information across sectors and regions.

All project activities are designed to promote democratic participation, support alignment with the EU Youth Goals, and provide formal recognition of learning through Youthpass certificates.

As an initial step under the project, ERYICA has opened a Call for Hosts for its first face-to-face training course for youth workers, scheduled for early 2027. Member organizations across Europe are invited to submit expressions of interest to host the event. Calls for participants will be announced shortly, opening cross-border learning opportunities to youth workers across the network.
