Bine ai venit, National Agency for the Development of Youth Programs and Activities!

At ERYICA, we are delighted to introduce you to our new member, coming from the Republic of Moldova. That is why we want to tell you a little bit about them.

The National Agency for the Development of Youth Programs and Activities (NYA) is the dedicated administrative authority under the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, tasked with implementing national youth policies. Their mission is to build a robust and resilient youth sector by supporting the community of youth workers, local councils, and youth centers across the country. They are committed to fostering an environment where every young person has the resources and support needed to become an active, civic-minded citizen who contributes meaningfully to their community.

Their youth information services are designed to bridge the gap between opportunities and action. Through a growing network of Youth Centers and innovative digital platforms, they provide essential guidance on career development, personal growth, and social participation. They focus heavily on ensuring that information reaches all young people, including those with fewer opportunities, by providing specialised training for youth workers and maintaining transparent, accessible communication channels for consultation and collaboration.

Beyond their core services, the Agency spearheads several high-impact initiatives, such as the National Youth Grant Program, the "Youth Capital" program, and the Social Innovation Center. These projects empower youth organisations and initiative groups to transform their ideas into reality. Whether it is through celebrating excellence at the National Youth Awards or strengthening the capacity of Student Councils, their goal remains the same: to invest in the potential of youth as the primary architects of Moldova’s future.
