Discussions focused on EU Youth Goal 4, Information and Constructive Dialogue, and the role of reliable information in enabling young people to participate meaningfully in democratic life, while contributing to the development of the next EU Youth Strategy beyond 2027.

ERYICA has launched a new Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Mobility Project, funded by Luxembourg's Anefore asbl. Designed to enhance youth information standards across Europe through international training and digital innovation, the initiative has officially opened a Call for Hosts for its first face-to-face training session in early 2027.

The Do You Mind? project concluded, presenting its key results on mental health in youth information and youth work. Building on YIMinds, the project delivered three outcomes: Good Practices, MINDYI and The Net of Souls.

The ERYICA network will gather in Dublin on 18–19 November for its Extraordinary General Assembly and 40th anniversary celebrations. The event will be preceded by the conference Infonomics 2.0 – Facts Still Matter Conference on 17 November.

The 6th ERYICA Network Meeting brought together 26 organisations from 22 countries to shape the network’s future work. Members agreed on new initiatives on youth loneliness, media literacy and critical thinking.

ERYICA Director Susan Flocken joined the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership’s Research Symposium to highlight the crucial role of youth information in helping young people access their social rights.

The AI Youth Work Navigator project concluded with a final conference in Brussels, where it launched its new platform and presented practical resources for youth information professionals. The project produced five AI tool tutorials and a Video Tutorial Creation Guide in English, French and Greek.

ERYICA took part in the UN's first Global Dialogue on AI Governance during Geneva Digital Week, where Governing Board member Günter Bressau presented the organisation's AI initiative. Bringing together the outcomes of ERYICA's AI projects and its forthcoming AI Strategy, the initiative highlights the essential role of youth information in ensuring that AI serves the rights, safety and participation of young people.

This week, ERYICA presented its contribution to the review of the post-2027 EU Youth Strategy to representatives of the European Commission, calling for stronger recognition of youth information as a pillar of democratic participation, digital rights, and quality youth work.
