Lithuanian Youth Council (LiJOT) is the largest non-governmental, non-profit umbrella organization for youth and youth organizations in Lithuania. Its main goal is to represent the interests of young people and youth organizations at the national and international levels. LiJOT brings together over 57 organizations, including national youth organizations and regional youth councils, working to ensure that youth voices are heard in political and societal decision-making.
LiJOT focuses on empowering young people by advocating for their rights, supporting youth participation in democratic processes, and fostering active citizenship. It organises consultations, trainings, and events to strengthen the capacities of youth organizations and promote youth engagement in public affairs. LiJOT also facilitates dialogue between young people and policymakers through structured dialogue and youth forums.
LiJOT has been a European Youth Information Quality Label holder since 2024.
