International Youth Information Conference in Lithuania
The first international youth information conference in Lithuania brought together 80 youth information specialists, young people, representatives of institutions shaping youth policy, and international guests to share best practices in youth information provision and discuss prospects for cooperation in Lithuania and beyond.
The conference included a discussion with the winners of the European Youth Information Quality Label and brought together the three main European youth information networks. ERYICA presented current trends and needs in youth information across Europe, Eurodesk showcased a range of European mobility opportunities, and the European Youth Card Association introduced its work and, together with Eurodesk, engaged participants in interactive activities about mobility and communication with Members of the European Parliament. The Lithuanian Youth Affairs Agency also led a workshop exploring the links between youth information and youth policy.
Participants shared their insights on youth information services in Lithuania, as well as suggestions for improvement and best practices. The event ended with a training on effective communication and on increasing social media reach.
