Developed as part of the ERASMUS+ youthinfo.ai project, this report addresses how rapid advancements in generative AI are transforming young people’s information-seeking behaviour.
It pairs an analysis of young people's shift toward conversational AI tools with an examination of the opportunities, limitations, and necessary conditions for integrating chatbots into youth work.
Rather than advocating for technology alone, the publication explores how youth information services can adapt to a changing digital landscape while maintaining their core values of independence, reliability, and human-centred guidance.
