Goal:

While AI adoption in the European Youth Information sector is still emerging, it is already influencing the field through chatbots, social media algorithms, and AI tools combating misinformation. These technologies offer opportunities to enhance the sector’s impact but also pose risks that must be addressed. With this project, we aim to integrate an efficient and ethical use of AI into YIW, to help youth information workers improve efficiency and create a more inclusive environment where each young person feels valued and supported.

 

Activities:

During the development of youthinfo.ai, we will provide the following resources, trainings and guidelines to YIW: 

  • 3 Research reports on How knowledgeable YIW are on AI?, How YIW use chatbots in their work?, and Ethical AI in Youth information work - Challenges&Opportunities.

  • A series of webinar on Understanding AI, Critical Thinking, and Chatbots use in YIW. 

  • A training on AI&Automation. 

  • Recommendations and guidelines on the use of chatbots in YIW

  • Guidelines on the impact and use of AI on SEO

  • Ethical guidelines for AI in YIW

  • Integration of the ethical guidelines on the EYI Charter

  • National disseminations events

  • Final dissemination seminar
