ERYICA 33 GA- Thanks for taking part!
The 33rd General Assembly of ERYICA took place in Barcelona last month, from 11 to 13 May 2022, with the attendance of 84 participants from 20 European countries. The National Youth Emancipation Network in Catalonia is delighted with the results, the atmosphere and the opportunity to regain the presence of these spaces for exchange and growth of the Network.

Multilingual youth information in Estonia
Since May 2022, the Estonian youth information service Teeviit has provided information to young people in four different languages. The action aims to ensure that young people whose mother tongue is not Estonian can access quality and reliable information, including war refugees, international students, local minorities, and visitors.
Safety campaign provided info and interesting activities all over Estonia
The campaign aimed to inform and illustrate the importance of safety helmets through activities. The campaign was held during the spring school break, which was perfect timing to address the issue with young people as the weather was warm enough to ride around on a bike or scooter.

New forms of sexual abuse: what Youth Information workers can do (Copy)
This webinar, conducted in collaboration with the Council of Europe, aims to raise awareness on different forms of sexual violence, harassment, grooming, and abuse affecting young people. It will be an opportunity to establish an open dialogue on their impact on young people, the position of youth information and counselling services, and what kind of actions and support can be provided to young people in need.

ERYICA will rely on the European Youth Information Day campaign 2022 to advocate for young people's right to information. Apart from giving access to other rights, the right to information is a powerful tool to enhance participation and preserve democracy, human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Decided by the Joint Council on Youth in October 2021, the campaign aims to increase young people’s role in the process of revitalising participatory democracy in the Council of Europe and restore mutual trust between young people and democratic institutions and processes.
MIL as a tool to better respond to the “new normality”
ERYICA is organising an international seminar in Luxembourg on 21-24 March 2022. The topic of the event is the role of media and information literacy (MIL) in young people’s lives and the role of different stakeholders.
European Youth Information Quality Label awarded to new organisations
The European Youth Information Quality Label, which guides young people through the information overload and tells them that a particular piece of information is verified, true and unbiased, has been awarded to two new organisations: Aġenzija Żgħażagħ (Malta) and Young Scot (UK).
Wrapping-up the DesYIgn project!
Our two-and-a-half-year international project titled Innovative youth information service design and outreach (DesYIgn) has reached its end, and it produced a number of outputs that are interesting for the European youth information work scene, as well as for other sectors of youth work.
