Eurodesk Italy creates a new video podcast on European opportunities for young people

Eurodesk Italy has launched ‘Eurodesk in Pillole 2026’, a video podcast created to make information about European mobility opportunities more accessible and immediate for young people in Italy. The project follows a multi-channel distribution strategy: full episodes are released both as podcasts on Spotify and as videos on the Eurodesk Italy YouTube channel.

The episodes cover a range of topics, including an overview of the Erasmus+ programme, volunteering opportunities through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), traineeships at European Union institutions, and courses of the Online Language Support (OLS) available on the EU Academy platform.

While the topics are defined by the national editorial team, the project's distinctive feature lies in its production process. The entire creative cycle is managed by four young volunteers from the Italian Universal Civil Service at Eurodesk Italy's national coordination office. They are responsible for every stage of the production process, from researching topics and writing the scripts to filming, presenting and editing the final content.

This approach ensures an authentic peer-to-peer format, translating the technical language of the European programmes into clear, practical and engaging information for young people. A total of 12 episodes will be published throughout the year, with one episode released each month until December 2026.
