Online focus group meeting on podcast series for youth (information) workers - Call for participants



The YiMinds project “Youth information minding young people’s mental health” outcomes support the mental health literacy of youth (information) workers across Europe. More information about the project can be found here.

The focus group online meeting aims to collect input on podcast episodes (4 episodes) and find potential guest speakers (4 workers/ experts). Profile of participants is around 6-10 youth information or youth workers or mental health specialists/ experts in contact with young people as part of their daily work. 

From the info of the online focus group meeting, the podcast episode's final content will be designed to support youth (information) workers' mental health literacy.

Expectations for participants

  • Take part in an online meeting on the 19th of February 2024 at 14.30 CET at Teams

  • Participate actively and share professional experiences related to mental health literacy.

  • Fluent English speaker

  • Professional background is connected with youth work, youth information work on mental health work with or for young people

Opportunities for participants

  • Contribute to the success of the YiMinds project.

  • Be involved in the final content design of podcast episodes.

  • Participate in a study visit and a podcast in April (Tallinn, Estonia).*

*Proposed dates are 9 and 10 April 2024. A total of 4 workers/ experts are invited. Accommodation and travel expenses are covered. Activity is organised by The Education and Youth Board of Estonia. 

How to participate in an online focus group

  • Date: Monday, 19 February 2024 14.30-16.00 CET. Teams link will be shared.

  • If interested, please sign up here by 15 February 2024.

How to participate in a study visit in Tallinn, Estonia

  • Take an active role in an online focus group meeting, think along in designing the final content of the podcast, and share your thoughts about what experiences connected with your work you would like to share in a podcast episode. 

  • The project team will decide the exact participants.
