Limerick Youth Service brought together young people for creative workshops, interactive activities, and discussions on solidarity and fairness. The event also recognised participants in Erasmus+ youth exchanges with the awarding of EU Youthpass certificates.

From 3–5 November, ERYICA participated in the launch of the Virtual Reality in Youth Work project in Dublin, Ireland. This Erasmus+ KA2 initiative aims to engage young people who are often difficult to reach due to neurodivergences, physical disabilities, geographic isolation, or digital absorption.

Youth Work Ireland is launching the Proud Spaces initiative this June to create inclusive environments for rural LGBTQ+ youth.

Youth Work Ireland recently published a new resource as part of the Proud Spaces project. This project, funded by Erasmus+ and supported by national agency Léargas, seeks to evidence youth work practices, activities and processes that achieve better outcomes for young LGBTQI+ people in youth work settings.

The project aims to train young people to become ambassadors for young people’s right to information; to carry out local-level trainings with their peers; and to gain skills and competences in different areas that will help them to influence decision-making processes
