Goals and activities

• Preliminary research on young people’s information needs in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

  • Consultation based on the survey conducted by ERYICA in 2017-2018 in the framework of the Future Youth Information Toolbox project (Erasmus+ KA2);

  • Focus groups with young people in each target country; and

  • Report on the survey and focus groups findings.

• Capacity building of youth workers and public bodies to initiate and support YIC services based on the ‘generalist’ principles and techniques.

  • Introductory Seminar on youth information aimed to policy-makers and the youth sector of the target countries;

  • ALTYO: Advocacy and lobbying training for youth organisations (ALTYO).

  • JIMMY: Youth Information mediator course for youth workers.

• Design of youth information and counselling service models for each country based on lessons from existing good practices and on cross-sectorial cooperation between CSOs and public institutions.

  • Designing and Developing a national YI structure in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia

  • YIC Conference with policymakers and relevant stakeholders (advocacy)

• Provision of support and learning resources pertinent to youth information providers, youth workers and policy-makers.

  • Translation, adjustment, and dissemination of relevant resources and ERYICA material.
