Quality and outreach of youth information services

The project brought together youth (information) workers, communication strategists within member organisations, experts in PR & Communication, youth representatives, and representatives of the three European platforms to create synergies and to be trained on how to increase the reach of their services towards young people through innovative PR, communication and youth marketing methods used in other sectors.

The project had three objectives:

1.Identify and elaborate on the challenges of youth (information) workers and organisations at grass root level in promoting their services towards young people through conducting a survey, and writing up a report of the survey;

2.Offer the space for youth workers and members organisations of the 3 Networks to get expert advice on Communication & PR in how to best advertise their services and reach out to as many young people as possible, with a specific target on Millenial Generation and youth at risk of exclusion, through a training; and

3. Develop an online publication comprising the most significant challenges of the sector, methods to better promote their services & good practices. The good practice booklet can be found on our projects page
