Include our youth, inspire the present & build the future

Europe Goes Local (EGL) has recently launched its Good Practice in local youth work publication to empower and inspire youth workers, young people, and those passionate about the quality development of youth work and its impact on local communities.

EGL believes that local youth work is the heartbeat of European youth policy, the place where young people find guidance, empowerment, and opportunities to grow. With this initiative, they aim not only to celebrate the diversity of approaches across regions but also to inspire other youth work services through initiatives and projects with a hands-on approach.

Europe Goes Local is a platform connecting local and European levels of youth work. Their mission is to strengthen the youth work community of practice at the local level, in line with the European Youth Work Agenda and from the perspective of municipalities and of local youth work actors.
