CIDJ increased YI chat services in France

Due to Covid-19 and confinement measures taken in France and across Europe, CIDJ has closed its face-to-face services, cancelled its annual summer job fair and postponed all events and training sessions which were planned from mid-March to the end of April 2020.

Youth information workers remain available for young people, their families and professionals as online services have been reinforced.

More chat opportunities for young people

Since 16 March, youth information workers at CIDJ have intensified their online chat offer. The aim is to support young people at every stage of their life, by answering their queries and giving them tips and solutions which cover school, studying, professional and personal issues.

CIDJ is preparing an article on how to best cope with confinement, and launched a call for young people on social networks in order to collect original ideas on how to keep busy and in touch with others.

IJbox, a YouthInfo tool for professionals

Access to IJ box - the CIDJ’s online toolkit for youth information professionals, full of tools and resources and gathering all of the CIDJ’s expertise in one place, is now wider as it is accessible to subscribers, but also their target groups.

Youth Information centres nationwide are closed and are offering more online services.
