ExPEERiencing the Peer-to-peer in youth information training toolkit!

In the framework of the Future Youth.Info Toolbox project, a new training manual has been created for youth information workers, trainers and peer educators. It’s called ‘Peer-to-Peer in Youth Information’ and it’s now available for use!

The training was piloted for the first time in October 2018 by the project partners of the Youth.Info project, and the manual includes lots of tips and tricks that the trainers learnt from their experience. Its content is based on the research conducted throughout the project, as well as 3 newly created pedagogical tools that were developed during the project, addressing specifically the topics of youth mobility, employability and data protection (these tools can be replaced by other youth information tools if they are not applicable to your peer-to-peer training). The outcome of this training course was that the young people who participated developed more than 10 different local peer-to-peer activities, covering the topics of youth information, and successfully implemented them.

The training lasts a total of 5 days and has 3 main themes: peer-to-peer education, youth information and facilitation. You can access it here.

ERYICA will be including this training in their training system in the future - so stay tuned!
