Digital divide and Diversity in Future Youth Information Work

Well-Being In the Information Society – WIS conference started in 2006, and is now a biannual event that brings together professionals from several academic disciplines from around the world for sharing studies, ideas and views about the use of information technology to promote equality and well-being.

Last year, the conference with the main theme of “fighting inequalities” took place in Turku, Finland, from 27-29 August 2018.

The publication “Proceedings of the seventh international conference on well-being in the information society: fighting inequalities” represents the results of the hard work of the authors with the crucial cooperation of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies, the Foundation for Economic Education and Åbo Akademi University. It contains selected and reviewed multidisciplinary abstracts that were presented during the WIS Conference.
