The end of the No Hate Speech Campaign?

On 10-12 April 2018, the Council of Europe’s No Hate Speech Campaign came to an end with its Final Evaluation Conference, but its legacy remains strong!

The No Hate Speech Movement is a youth campaign of the Council of Europe for human rights online, to reduce the levels of acceptance of hate speech and develop online youth participation and citizenship, including in Internet governance processes.

The Final Evaluation Conference celebrated the achievements of the No Hate Speech Movement youth campaign, reflected on emerging threats and proposed future measures to combat hate speech and safeguard human rights online. Representatives of national campaign committees, online activists, European partners, national and regional authorities, education professionals and youth workers were united along with ERYICA to make this a youth campaign, with the motivation and enthusiasm of thousands of young people across Europe and beyond! The tools and publications developed within the campaign are still available on the No Hate Speech Movement website.

You can find here the final conference conclusions.
