The Youth Goals are the outcome of the Structured Dialogue with Youth process 2017-18. They represent the views of young people from all over Europe. The Youth Goals are divided into eleven sections which deal with different topics and issues related to youth in Europe, such as ensuring equal access for all young people to youth organisations and European youth programmes, inclusive societies and mental health and wellbeing. One of the sections consists of a chapter very important to ERYICA, which is on Information and Constructive Dialogue, including accuracy and reliability of information, media information and digital literacy, and the provision and visibility of quality youth information. Goal 4 underlines among other aspects the need to "ensure easy access to understandable youth-friendly information that follows codes of ethics and quality standards”, as well as the importance of empowering young people to be critical and responsible users and producers of information. More information on the youth goals is available on the website.
