Young parenthood digital resource – Young Scot

Young people, who are also parents, from across Scotland, are taking part in an exciting new digital project.

The group of young people will be creating a new digital resource that focuses on what it is like to be a young person and a parent in Scotland today. They will also be co-creating digital content including vlogs, blogs, videos and social media posts for the Young Scot Website, partners and social media platforms.

The content will cover a range of issues that face young parents in Scotland from what it’s like being at a parent while at school and work, to what impact it has on your social life and friendships. Both mothers and fathers, as well as their support networks, will be involved.

The Young Scot pregnancy and parenthood project is being funded by the Scottish Government.

As the project develops the young volunteers will have a say in developing discounts and Young Scot Rewards that will become available through the Young Scot National Entitlement Card.
