SALTO I&D. UNDER THE SAME ROOF. Youth work and cross-sectoral co-operation in the field of inclusion
SALTO-YOUTH is a network of six Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field. As part of the European Commission's Training Strategy, SALTO-YOUTH provides non-formal learning resources for youth workers and youth leaders and organises training and contact-making activities to support organisations and National Agencies (NAs) within the frame of the European Commission's Erasmus+ Youth programme and beyond.
SALTO-YOUTH has organised a seminar on Youth work and cross-sectoral co-operation in the field of inclusion in the Slovak Republic on the 21 to 25 February 2018, which aimed at promoting sustainable cross-sectoral cooperation for young people with fewer opportunities in order to enable their active involvement and integration in society.
To explore strengths and weaknesses of cross-sectoral approaches targeting young people with fewer opportunities, notably Roma youth
To exchange ways of working together and methods of intervention in inclusion of young people
To get to know different realities and sharing good practices in cross-sectoral work with young people
To stimulate the development of cross-sectoral projects for young people with fewer opportunities, notably Roma youth within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
