MOVE Pre-conference at the University of Luxembourg

The MOVE Pre-conference took place at the University of Luxembourg on 7 March 2018 and presented the results and findings on the research on the pathways, institutions and structural effects of youth mobility in Europe. The pre-conference was aimed at policy makers; more than 70 professionals working in the youth sector participated!

The programme of this event included a presentation of the findings from coordinator of the MOVE Project Prof. Dr. Birte Nienaber, as well as a panel discussion with the President of Eurodesk Reinhard Schwalbach, President of Erasmus Student Network Joao Pinto, Research and Youth Policy officer for the Partnership between the Council of Europe and the European Commission Davide Capecchi and Marc Kuster, Head of Sector “Youth Communities and Management and Support’’ at the DG for Education and Culture of the European Commission.

In the afternoon, the event organised 6 lively and thought-provoking group discussions on the different mobility types: higher education, voluntary, entrepreneurship, vocational training, employment and pupil’s exchange.
