Nordic-Baltic Working Group Meeting in Helsinki in August
Koordinaatti and Föreningen Luckan r.f., organised the second Nordic-Baltic Network Meeting in Helsinki on 29-31 August 2018.
The main purpose of the Nordic-Baltic Working Group Meeting was to discuss the current situation of youth information in the Nordic-Baltic region. The event gathered participants from Finland, Estonia, Sweden and Norway. The participants shared information, ideas, best practices and know-how, and brainstormed for future cooperation possibilities. There were also discussion groups on important topics, such as youth information and counselling work online, and research outcomes were presented from Åbo Akademi on young people’s information trends and needs (the research came from the Future Youth Information Toolbox Project report). The aim was also to draft a work plan (2018-2019) for Nordic-Baltic networking to ensure that cooperation in youth information and counselling continues in the region.
