New Save A Life Campaign for Young Scots
Save a Life For Scotland have completed a campaign to encourage young people to say “I’ll do it”and save a life by learning CPR and having the confidence to use the skill.
Developed by Save a Life for Scotland and Young Scot and funded by the Scottish Government, the campaign aims to help the 3,000 people in Scotland who have a cardiac arrest and need resuscitation outside of hospital every year.
The new campaign aims to address this. Save a Life for Scotland and Young Scot have been providing young people with specially commissioned tote and drawstring bags which can be used to practice CPR and pass skills onto friends and family.
Free resources, videos and advice about administrating CPR are available on www.young.scot/cpr.
