In the frame of the Developing Online Youth Information Trainings (DOYIT) project, a Training of Trainers on eLearning Methodologies took place in Helsinki on 12-16 June 2017. The course introduced 20 trainers to the freshly created eLearning materials of the DOYIT project. The aim of the event was to endow these participants with the necessary competences for delivering youth information eLearning courses on the MoodleRooms platform in high quality. Besides the platform itself, special emphasis was paid to the Digital YIntro and Youth on the Move – InfoMobility (YoMIM)training courses.

The feedback of participants about the online courses was also collected, and with these in mind, online pilot courses are taking place at the moment to test this new material. The DOYIT project has the overarching goal of exploiting innovations in training methodologies and tools, especially eLearning methods and virtual cooperation, in order to increase the access of youth information workers across Europe to ERYICA trainings. The ultimate aim is to strengthen and promote the provision of quality youth information and counselling in Europe through trained professionals.

The project is funded by the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ programme.
