In 2026, ERYICA is turning 40!

Since its creation in 1986, ERYICA has worked to ensure that young people have access to reliable, comprehensive and youth-friendly information, helping them make informed choices and actively participate in society.

This anniversary is not only a celebration.

It is an opportunity to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and shape the future.

Throughout 2026, ERYICA will coordinate a range of online and offline activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary and highlight the value of youth information across Europe.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

Throughout the year, ERYICA will run a series of communication actions to share stories from the network and highlight the evolution of youth information.

You can participate by contributing content, translating it into your languages, sharing posts, or taking part in specific initiatives.

On 17 April 2026, we will host a simultaneous European Youth Information Open Day.

Youth Information Services will open their physical or online youth information services to young people, institutions, and the wider public under the shared slogan Information You Can Trust.

Each service will design its own activities contributing to a Europe-wide celebration, and sending a united message about the essential role of youth information today.
