The Council of Europe offers a training course on Democratic Leadership and Management of Youth Organisations.
Voluntary or employed staff of international non-governmental youth organisations, and other youth networks are invited to apply.
The course aims to develop the participants’ attitudes, improve their skills and receive additional
information and knowledge in order to manage youth organisations
(programme, units or boards) in a democratic, efficient and effective
manner.

ERYICA invites up to 25 trainers in the "Train the Trainer" event on the ERYICA beginners training course "YIntro - Stepping into Youth Information".
The training is addressed to trainers experienced in Youth Information. The course is aiming at preparing trainers to deliver courses in accordance with the new "YIntro" course rather than providing participants with generic training skills, such as on Youth Information topics and competences.

Within the framework of the “A Better Youth Information for New Times” (ABYIFNT) project the ERYICA Training Task Force will hold its sixth consecutive meeting from January 23 – 25, 2010 in Brussels, Belgium. The project serves as a platform to bring together trainers and youth information workers from all over Europe to discuss the most pressing issues of generalist youth information.

The National Youth Agency in Belgium has organised in Louvain-la-Neuve a World forum based in several workshops aiming to promote different ways of active participation for young people on our planet, and ways of linking these the actions of other generations.
The workshops will explore 6 different themes, in different ways through exchanges of analysis, practical solutions and through different forms of creative intervention in the public sphere.

A Study Visit focusing on youth information practices and youth participation in Flanders, the Flemish part of Belgium, will take place on October 18-24, 2009.
The Study Visit will gather 20 participants from the ERYICA network in the Western Balkans, namely from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Slovenia.
The visitors will be hosted in Ghent. Flemish NGOs, gouvernmental bodies and youth information structures in Brussels, Antwerp and Ostende are already on their agenda!.

The "Training for Trainers" will take place in Bečej, Serbia on September 20 - 28, 2009. The Training will support the development of youth information work by organising a training course for 24 youth information workers from Turkey, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Belarus, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, and by creating joint projects.

This autumn, the ERYICA Member in Luxembourg, CIJ, will host the ERYICA Board meeting (17 - 20 September, 2009) to discuss current issues of the Network and challenges in the field of youth information policies. Members and partners will receive, as usual, a report of the main findings from the Board shortly after the meeting.
