World Forum - Participate!

The National Youth Agency in Belgium has organised in Louvain-la-Neuve a World forum based in several workshops aiming to promote different ways of active participation for young people on our planet, and ways of linking these the actions of other generations.   The workshops will explore 6 different themes, in different ways through exchanges of analysis, practical solutions and through different forms of creative intervention in the public sphere.

Study Visit in Flanders

From Sunday, October 18, 2009 to Saturday, October 24, 2009
A Study Visit focusing on youth information practices and youth participation in Flanders, the Flemish part of Belgium, will take place on October 18-24, 2009. The Study Visit will gather 20 participants from the ERYICA network in the Western Balkans, namely from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Slovenia. The visitors will be hosted in Ghent. Flemish NGOs, gouvernmental bodies and youth information structures in Brussels, Antwerp and Ostende are already on their agenda!.

Training for Trainers in Serbia

From Sunday, September 20, 2009 to Monday, September 28, 2009
The "Training for Trainers" will take place in Bečej, Serbia on September 20 - 28, 2009. The Training will support the development of youth information work by organising a training course for 24 youth information workers from Turkey, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Belarus, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, and by creating joint projects.

Governing Board Meeting

This autumn, the ERYICA Member in Luxembourg, CIJ, will host the ERYICA Board meeting (17 - 20 September, 2009) to discuss current issues of the Network and challenges in the field of youth information policies. Members and partners will receive, as usual, a report of the main findings from the Board shortly after the meeting.

International Conference on Youth Policy and Research, Vienna

An International Conference on Youth Policy and Research is taking place on September 23 - 25, 2009 in Vienna. The Conference´s theme "From Theory to Practice - Evidence Base Youth Policy" was chosen to initiate, promote; and encourage youth esearch and investigation into the nature of youth work and youth policies in the future. International and national speakers hqve been invited to present to the participants their ideas, to stimulate discussions and to inform them of an array of possibilities.

Conference "Future EU Cooperation in the Youth Field"

On 12-14 September 2009, the Swedish Presidency will hold a Conference "EU's Future Youth Policy Framework" in Stockholm, Sweden. Youth representatives, directors-general and officials from all EU Member States, as well as applicant countries and EFTA countries, and a number of selected experts in the field of youth will be invited to the Conference (estimated number of participants: 250).

Mini Summit on E-learning

Bharosa Finland, ERYICA partner from Finland, will organise a Mini Summit on E-learning of youth information and counselling work in Helsinki, Finland, on October 15-18, 2009. The aim of the Summit is to figure out which of the ERYICA members and partners are working on e-learning issues within the framework of the youth information and counselling.

Training in Serbia - Apply!

Monday, May 18, 2009
A Training "Creating Creative European Citizens" will be organized in Serbia from 6 to 13 March 2010. The project will bring together a maximum of 16 professional youth workers to work together to explore concepts of citizenship and to learn skills which they can use with their own target groups to support them in becoming active and creative citizens within Europe.
